Concrete Anchors
Concrete anchors are the mechanical anchors often used with exposed steel connections on pergolas, pavilions, barns, porches, and timber-frame work.
Choose the anchor that matches your base material, load, and installation method. Sleeve anchors work well through a fixture into solid concrete or masonry. Wedge anchors are a common choice for higher-load attachments in solid concrete. Other masonry fasteners are available when you are fastening into brick or block.

Match the anchor diameter to the hole in your bracket or base plate. Confirm embedment depth, edge distance, and spacing for your slab or footing. Use zinc plated anchors for interior and dry locations; step up to hot-dip galvanized or stainless when the connection will see weather or treated lumber.
