  Don't rely on "nominal" sizes (like a 6x6 actually being 5.5"). Measure your wood's actual width. We typically build in a 1/16" buffer so the steel slides over the wood without a struggle, though we can adjust this for a "dead-fit" upon request.
• Do you provide the hardware to match these thicknesses?
  Yes, we can. Just ask us to add it. Whether you are using .125" plate or .5" plate, we can provide matching bolts, lags, and washers sized to fit your bracket holes and your timber depth perfectly. Make sure to ask about adding it to your order.
