Here is an example of an angled joist hanger that has a full flange that works well for rafters and beams at an angle. These steel joist hangers are custom made to fit your joist or beam project perfectly. This is a very classy way to dress up your exposed beams or ceiling rafters. These are made to the pitch of your rafters. Providing your actual timber sizing will allow us to make the inside dimension 1/16" over so that you can easily slide the brackets on. If you want to have a super tight fit, just send us a note in your order when you check out and we will make them the size you selected. The flange width (part that mounts to the ledger or wall) and depth of the basket (distance from the wall or ledger) will be determined by the size of the beam. 

Custom Angle, Hole Size, Thickness, and Finish Available on Beam Hangers

Angle,Hole size, finish and thickness are things we can custom fit as well. Select the proper angle or pitch when ordering and we'll make them just right. When selecting, down angle means the basket will angle down, as if it were at the ridge beam and the joist angles down away from the ridge beam. Up angle would be the opposite side (the lowest side of the rafter). To determine the hole size, just select the diameter of screws you will be using to install these and we will make the holes sufficiently large enough for them to fit just right. The holes may need to be offset for lag screw installation, depending on the ID of the basket holding the joist. If that is the case, we will automatically do that for you. Typically, if the joist is below 4"in width, we will offset the holes. If you want bolt-through on the basket, just put a note in the order when going through checkout to let us know.

Due to them not sitting on a shelf, they cannot be returned due to the wrong size being ordered. The project will typically take between 2-3 weeks to manufacture. If you need to have them sooner please select "rush" when ordering. We will get them out as soon as we possibly can.
